Accountability Quest is built around a simple promise: the people you choose to keep you accountable never see your raw numbers, and we never sell your data. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect today and how we handle it.
The short version: Right now this site does one thing — it runs a waitlist for our upcoming iOS app. We store the email you give us, and an optional note about which area you care about (Money, Health, or Life). That’s it. No data sale. No advertising trackers.

What we collect
Waitlist signup. When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address and, optionally, the area you’re most interested in (Money, Health & Fitness, or Life & Habits). We also record the date you signed up. We do not ask for your name, phone number, or any sensitive personal information.
Analytics. We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to count aggregate page views and how many people join the waitlist. This data is anonymous and not tied to you personally. We do not use cookies for tracking, advertising pixels, or cross-site tracking — so there’s no cookie banner to click through.
Double opt-in
After you sign up, we send a confirmation email. You’re only added to the waitlist once you click the link to confirm. If you never confirm, your email isn’t kept on the list.
What your allies never see
This is the heart of the product. In the Accountability Quest app, the allies you choose to support you never see your numbers or the underlying details — including amounts, account balances, merchants, weights, step counts, raw data, sources, or the accounts behind them. Allies only ever see that you’re on track or off track and any note you choose to share. That principle guides every data decision we make.
We never sell your data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. We don’t share it with advertisers or data brokers. We use it only to run the waitlist and to tell you when the app is ready.
How we use your information
- To confirm your signup and add you to the waitlist
- To email you launch updates and early-access details
- To understand, in aggregate, how the site is performing
Your choices
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can leave the waitlist at any time, and you can ask us to delete your email by contacting us. We keep waitlist data only as long as needed to launch and notify you, then remove it.
Service providers
We use a small number of trusted providers to send email and run the site. They process data only on our behalf and aren’t permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we’ll change the date at the top. For meaningful changes, we’ll let waitlist members know by email.
