Welcome to Accountability Quest. These terms apply to the Accountability Quest website, waitlist, and iOS app. They are meant to be clear and fair, and they are not legal advice.
What Accountability Quest Is
Accountability Quest is a motivation and accountability app for money, health, and life goals. You set private lines, get a grace window to recover, and can allow chosen Crew to receive a privacy-limited check-in only when something remains unresolved.
Accountability Quest is not financial, medical, legal, therapeutic, or emergency advice. Do not rely on the app for urgent decisions or crisis support. Contact a qualified professional or local emergency services when needed.
Accounts and Eligibility
You are responsible for the information and relationships you add to the app. If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple also applies its own terms. You may use Accountability Quest only if you can legally agree to these terms and use the app under applicable law.
Subscriptions and Pricing
Paid iOS features are offered through Apple in-app purchases and subscriptions. Apple manages billing, renewal, cancellation, refunds, and payment methods under Apple’s App Store terms. Prices, trial availability, and plan features may change as allowed by Apple and applicable law.
Plaid, HealthKit, Push, and Providers
Money quests can use Plaid to connect financial accounts. Plaid handles bank login and may apply its own terms. Health features can read selected HealthKit data only after you grant permission. Push notifications use Apple’s Push Notification service. Diagnostics and setup assistance may use service providers as described in the Privacy Policy.
Crew Relationships
Only invite people you trust and feel safe with. You control who is in your Crew and what each person may receive. Crew check-ins are intentionally limited, but Accountability Quest cannot control how another person responds after receiving a check-in or note from you.
Commitment-Contract Previews
Accountability Quest may show commitment-contract previews or examples. These are for planning and motivation only. They do not move, hold, charge, transfer, or wager money.
Acceptable Use
Do not misuse the service, interfere with its systems, attempt unauthorized access, submit false or another person’s information without permission, harass or endanger others, reverse engineer the app where prohibited by law, or use Accountability Quest for anything unlawful.
Privacy
Your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. In short: Crew never sees your raw numbers or source records, and we do not sell your data.
Availability and Changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features as the product develops. We may update these terms by changing the date above and posting the new version. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
No Warranty
Accountability Quest is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Accountability Quest and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost goodwill arising from use of the website, waitlist, or app.
